This is a very rambling post today, I'm sorry, I'm in a tired rush. A tired tired summer rush. Which, in my professional opinion, is the most annoying kind of rush. I prefer a crisp winter rush! But oh well.

[tilts his head, trying to judge the distance]





[PUFFS! fwooosh~ THUNK! right on target]

[crosses his arms, rather impressed]

You've done this before?

[shakes his head no]

[but the tree was pretty close anyway]

Now can I shoot at someone?

[aims it back at you]

[still not bad for the first try]

As long as it's not me!

Remember what I taught ya, be stealthy. Hit and run. It's stuff I had to do when I was just as little as you.

And if I shoot at someone with the poison, they'll die...?

[goes to retrieve the dart from the tree]

At least paralyzed. Then you can finish em off with a rock on the skull or a knife or a... except we got no other weapons. Oh well, I'll kill em for ya.

I don't have a knife, I only got the poison...

[speaking of the poison he opens the jar of potassium cyanide and gets the briefest, smallest of whiffs... and instantly wobbles a bit, suddenly becoming extremely dizzy and lightheaded]

[quickly covers the jar again just before he falls over, gasping for air]

[goes to the lake]

[splashes water onto]

[coughing and struggling to breathe]

[can't even speak]

[the water helps just a little, and he turns his face towards the source]
