part 335 summer nights (tell me more tell me more)
Like did he have a car? Dodo--dodo--dodo... yeah! How is your July going so far, meme? Good? Bad? Okay? Scrumtrulescent? ... Question mark? This is a very rambling post today, I'm sorry, I'm in a tired rush. A tired tired summer rush. Which, in my professional opinion, is the most annoying kind of rush. I prefer a crisp winter rush! But oh well.
Enjoy part 335!

[ He approaches her from behind... ]
Liechtenstein-san?
[ his gaze is a bit hardened; and he's holding his M2 Browning, but at least he isn't pointing it at her? ]
Do you know what happened to America-san?...
no subject
I-I...
[She lets out a small sigh, but after what happened with England she's unwilling to hide the truth anymore.]
Yes, I do.
no subject
...May I ask what happened--?
[ but his gaze holds her own wide-eyed gaze, before moving to the gun she holds. ]
[ ...it's quickly coming together, anyhow. ]
"Shot with his own gun"... [ he murmurs, softly, obvious disapproval on his face. ]
no subject
It was me.
[Her eyes are dry, but she bites her lip and looks ashamed as she speaks.]
no subject
...Why? [ did she do it...? ]
Because Liechtenstein-san, this "game"...
[ he pauses -- ]
There might be a way to stop it, but... now he can't...
[ come back. Probably... ]
no subject
[She hopes he doesn't mean what she thinks he means. America has to come back. He's the hero, right?]
I don't want to play this game anymore.
no subject
[ he sighs, looking rather defeated, himself. ]
This game's "scenario"... it's very similar to one I know -- "Battle Royale".
[ and now another pause. ] ...There's a chance that the system that is connected to the collars... can be hacked into. That the "collars" can be "fooled"...
But... in the scenario I know, no one comes back from the dead.
no subject
[But then she remembers the situation: Japan probably doesn't trust her, and she doesn't blame him.]
But he's a nation. Surely there's a chance...
no subject
[ ... ]
[ he's frowning, but he slowly nods. ]
If you would provide assistance.
[ He doesn't fully trust her, no -- which is why -- ]
But... I will be watching your movements carefully. And, if I must -- [ he indicates his gun with another nod. ] I will shoot in self-defense...
no subject
[Her face is serious now, and she nods.]
What do you need me to do?
no subject
[ but he's glad that she's not making this difficult. That she's offering help... that he doesn't have to hurt her. ]
I was planning to check the mansion and the school for any working computers or internet system. Assistance in general is what I'll need... [ finding them ] -- along with the hacking. We should work quickly so we're not detected by them.
no subject
[She isn't very good at covering a lot of ground quickly, and she's beginning to feel fatigued after several days on the island. She may actually be a hindrance in finding the computers.]
no subject
Then, I will search, while you later focus on hacking what we find?
And if I cannot find anything further, I will assist you.
[ ... ] But, if you attempt anything suspicious... [ he will shoot, yes. ]
no subject
[She sounds more confident than she feels, perhaps, but it will have to do.]
I do not intend to harm anyone else.
no subject
I am afraid I cannot fully trust your word, Liechtenstein-san, but for now... we will work together, despite it.
[ Maybe, when it's all over... if she can prove herself, that what she says is true; he'll forgive her. ]
...Then, shall we go?
no subject
If... If you don't mind, I would like to stay here a little longer. To pay my respects.
no subject
...Please do not leave the area, then, in that case. We will leave from here.
1/2
[She wanders off a little, not out of his line of sight but enough so he can't hear her for a while. She has some things to think about.]
2/2
I am ready to go when you are.
no subject
[ He was more bemused by her suddenly holding a rock and handling her ribbon (did it really just fall out on its own...?) but... he won't question it. ]
I am ready, as well. Follow me, Liechtenstein-san...
[ He'll nod, and guide the way out of there, before leading her to the mansion. ]
