This is a very rambling post today, I'm sorry, I'm in a tired rush. A tired tired summer rush. Which, in my professional opinion, is the most annoying kind of rush. I prefer a crisp winter rush! But oh well.

[ How desperately she wants to truly allow her thoughts to go back to normal. The humidity has been awful lately, making her feel grimy and sticky, and normally she'd have no reservations about launching into an animated discussion about how oppressive this humidity's been lately, she just can't escape it, and so on and so forth. But then he's bringing up how not normal their circumstances are, and with a small jolt of panic, all thoughts of weather escape her. ]

It's not skinny-dipping, it's a bath.

[ She hates mentioning how cynical she's feeling about this whole thing, but a bath really does sound frivolous otherwise... ]

If I'm going to die today, I'd like to do it with clean hair and clean clothes.

[ Okay, never mind, that still sounds pretty frivolous. ]

[He raises his eyebrows. Is she really arguing semantics here? Either way she's naked when someone could try to kill her at any time.]

[She probably can't smell him from this distance, but he sinks. He could do with a bath himself. He frowns at her saying she's going to die today though.]

[ She sinks down a bit further into the water upon hearing the words death wish. Retreating now would probably be in her best interests, but she's fairly sure he'll be able to run around the lake to cut her off faster than she could swim across it. There's really no point. ]
