This is a very rambling post today, I'm sorry, I'm in a tired rush. A tired tired summer rush. Which, in my professional opinion, is the most annoying kind of rush. I prefer a crisp winter rush! But oh well.

[he crouches to pick up a rock off the floor, and tosses it hard in the opposite direction hoping to distract you with the sound]

[And it does, as she looks over to the direction where the rock hits the dirt]

[he takes it as his cue to spring out, lunging from behind as he aims a slash at your cleaver-wielding arm

[She quickly jumps back, but not without enduring that slash] [She keeps her cleaver gripped as she holds her wound with her other hand]

[dammit, he'd been counting on that to make you drop it]

[he backs away quickly as well, watching you carefully]

[and winces slightly at the pain just that movement caused to his wounded arm-- he can't afford to let this go on too long]

[She stops covering her arm and looks at her blood soaked hand] [She licks some of the blood before approaching you] You're a murderer. You have to be killed.

I haven't killed anyone yet.

[or ok maybe one deer]

[but it doesn't count]

And won't killing me make you a murderer.

I only murder the murderers. You left a trap.

[he watches you for a moment before letting out a small breath]

[it's not like he wanted to avoid fighting you or anything anyway]

Run. I won't be pursuing you.

[he paces slowly backwards, keeping his eyes on you just in case--]

[with that he's off, disappearing into the forest before you can change your mind]
