Like did he have a car? Dodo--dodo--dodo... yeah! How is your July going so far, meme? Good? Bad? Okay? Scrumtrulescent? ... Question mark? This is a very rambling post today, I'm sorry, I'm in a tired rush. A tired tired summer rush. Which, in my professional opinion, is the most annoying kind of rush. I prefer a crisp winter rush! But oh well.

[returns to resting his head against your shoulder as he inspects his fish once more, bringing it to his lips and taking a quick nibble]

I believe so. As you say, it needs seasoning, but... still surprisingly good...

[that's enough talk, time to eat nom nom nom]

Maybe you're just that hungry~

[There's a little snickering behind his words, but he can't really help but agree when he starts eating too. Something warm at least, finally]

[He'll make short work of this fish too, picking it totally clean. There hasn't been all that much to eat out here, but hopefully this will be enough to last a little while]

[And then he's licking his lips clean and tossing the remains and that stick into the fire, cuddling up against you to wait for you to finish as well]

[he eats much slower, preferring to savor his first good meal in days, making sure all the meat has been picked from the bones before tossing his in with yours]

[gently nuzzles your jaw with the tip of his nose]

Shall we sleep in turns with the fire going... or put out the fire and find better shelter...?

[He hadn't really thought of anything but sleeping together, but now that you mention it he's not really all that interested in wandering around to find somewhere else. Somewhere probably cold]

Dunno if it's a good idea to have it going all night, the light and stuff...

[But it's also nice and warm and as much as they shouldn't make their location obvious to anyone else-]

Maybe as long as someone's watching it it'll be okay~ Are you really tired...?

[Because he totally is, and it's pretty obvious. But if you are too he'll try to keep himself awake to keep watch instead]

[of course he's tired, when is he ever not tired? but he is stronger in the night and knows he can remain alert if necessary. besides, you obviously need the sleep far more than he]

I will attempt to control the fire...

[keep it lit, but keep it small so that it's less noticeable to anyone looking for trouble]

Get some sleep... I will remain on watch and wake you if I need you...

[Yeah, maybe that was a stupid question]

[Breathes out a sigh of relief at the agreement, he would have kept watch, but quite honestly there's a good chance he would have ended up passed out within an hour or so anyway]

Just a few hours, then...

[Shrugs his shoulder to move you back upright, and then he's the one leaning, scooting down right where he is to try and stick his head on your lap. There's probably somewhere in one of the crevices of this mountain that would be safer to sleep, but he wants to keep by you as long as he can]

[And he's yawning already, settling down. No blankets or pillows or comfortable mattress underneath, but somehow it's still the most comfortable he's been since waking up on this island]

[nods and watches you make yourself comfortable on him, leaning down to place a soft good night kiss against your forehead]

Just a few hours...

[starts to slowly run his fingers through your hair in a soothing manner, as if his earlier attempts to calm you weren't enough, fully intending to let you sleep through the night]

καληνύχτα...

[Closes his eyes, breathing out as the lips touch his forehead, one arm coming up to wrap over your thighs]

[It might be uncomfortable for you by the time a few hours are up, but he's a deep enough sleeper that he could probably be moved without waking]

[But for now he's not worried about any future discomfort, relaxing fully with the fingers moving through his hair and finally... slowly... dozing... off]

[he doesn't bother to move you even after realizing you've fallen asleep, allowing you to remain in contact with him for as long as he can tolerate it]

[soon he can feel his legs falling asleep and that is when he shifts you off, sweeping away the larger rocks and pebbles, leaving only soft dirt and sparse grass beneath you as your bed]

[he remains true to his post, watching over you as you sleep through the night all the way til the sun rises again]

[by then the fire has started growing too weak for his liking, having run out of fuel for it an hour ago. not only that, his stomach has started growling from the energy spent remaining conscious]

...

[glances at your sleeping form once more, and then around the area. it appears silent and still, and he quickly makes the decision to take the opportunity while he can]

[sweeps some dirt onto the fire to extinguish it, they can always start it up again when he returns, and grabs his machete and your taser before jogging his way back into the forest to search for food, thinking to himself how happy you will be to wake up to a nice breakfast]

[He sleeps deeply through the whole night, waking after the sun's up and the fire's out]

[It's confusing for a few moments, and he reaches out blindly for a body that isn't there any longer, still tired and bleary eyed, and he spends a few minutes searching around the area and calling out]

[But no one's there, and after a few more minutes looking around he realizes it's not only Greece that's disappeared, but his taser from his bag as well. There's no reason you'd take that, right? You wouldn't steal from him, so something else must have happened, something that made you need to leave quickly with weapons]

[So he doesn't stick around, grabbing his bag and the remaining sword and heading out into the forest, the other direction, to find you and give the help you must need]
