This is a very rambling post today, I'm sorry, I'm in a tired rush. A tired tired summer rush. Which, in my professional opinion, is the most annoying kind of rush. I prefer a crisp winter rush! But oh well.

I used to be able to! My school went through a yo-yo phase where if you didn't have a yo-yo you were a scrub. So I learnt a lot of tricks but I don't think I'd be able to anymore :')

A... yo-yo phase? Like what, you couldn't sit at the cool kids' table unless you demonstrated you could walk the dog?

I've never figured out how to make the yo-yo do anything besides dangle on the end of its string like a rock, so hey, you've still got me beat!

YOU JOKE BUT THAT'S PRETTY MUCH HOW IT WENT
it got so bad that the school actually had to ban yo-yos because there were so many yo-yo thefts going around and one kid actually got mad at a teacher and trick'd his yo-yo right into his forehead.

I THINK THAT'S STILL GOOD!!

...are you sure this was a real school you attended and not an anime school? Were there any yo-yo boss battles in the schoolyard? Did your classmates have suspiciously colorful and gravity-defying hair?

(I'm sure it's only a matter of time before someone somewhere somehow creates a manga called Prince of Yo-yo.)

Yes, and I'm proud to say that I haven't let my skills get rusty at all. I can still dangle an object at the end of a string just as well as I did all those years ago.
