Oh goodness! /prepares self

I work as a cashier! I'm trained in all the cashier positions, but my favorite is the snack bar.
I sure am! 8) Right now, it looks like I'm doing a Homestuck cosplay for my gf, Oyasumi CD and teen Romano, and possibly Prince Gumball? (It wouldn't be right if we actually knew what we were doing two days before the con, huh.)

Ooh, sunshine! I wish I had the time to laze around while at work, but I'm usually inside-- or too embarrassed to do so on my break. And I've been trying to get into WTNV, since I've got a friend who likes it, but I don't like audio books. Maybe I'll hunt down a transcript!

/SWOONS AGGRESSIVELY over you!!

/...and probably falls over, but there's no need to dwell on ungraceful details

Wow, that's a lot of costumes! How do you manage to pack them all? But that sounds like fun.

I'm going to miss the sun so much when the days get shorter... Right now, even when I come home there are still 3-4 solid hours of sunlight.

Cecil's voice was a little too soothing for me at the start - I'd zone out and miss what he was saying - but after a while I got used to it. The jokes work just as well in transcript though - that was actually how I decided to give the show a try, because I read an excerpt of a transcript on my dash.

.../falls down too, so you don't feel bad

I can't even tell you sob. Thankfully my girlfriend tends to take care of the sewing, so she'll have the costumes, and I'll have the wigs. It's a whole lot of fun! I really love working on wigs, so.

I always get a sort of 'season shock' when the days get longer :'>

I think it's something about the enunciation or something that sets me off... it might just be me being strange.

/brofist for swoon-failure

Is your girlfriend doing matching cosplays with yours? How cute! :D

One day I want to live somewhere where it's always sunny and the days are long. Just like California. (Except preferably unlike California in the sense of being not so in debt, on fire, and/ likely to suffer a catastrophically huge earthquake and break off and drift into the Pacific Ocean within our lifetimes.)

No, that makes sense. I usually make up a voice when I'm reading a book to myself, and it does feel weird and vaguely intrusive when there's an official voice all picked out already. Given the text, I probably would've imagined a less refined kind, more... dorky kind of voice for Cecil - but the one he has has sure grown on me.
