I don't think there's that much elitism, really. There's an emphasis on being IC, but there's all kinds of alt versions of characters, and characters from outside fandoms, and hell even inanimate objects. We can't be that elitist, really. More or less we tend to look down on tumblr rp but even that is more the form of it. As far as I've seen, the RPers are all really chill, so if that's what you're here to do, we generally suggest you lurk a bit to get a feel for it and then jump right in. Etiquette says that if someone tags you, reply to them.

And basically what I've been told this place to be like. Lurking sounds fine with me for the time being.

Oooh who do you RP? We have a great cast here. I'd recommend hanging around a few days to make yourself familiar with some things before jumping in but give it a shot!

Not really comfortable with telling just yet. My masterplan is still to test the waters here now without anyone knowing and maybe after a few days passed and no one recalls I ever posted this attempt to tag something.

For some odd reason that seems less embarrassing to me.
