ahhh!! i mean i just love mikasa and just!! she is willing to DIE for that idiot eren but ofc i can see why i mean eren basically saved her life and gave her a home when everything was taken away from her

yeah yeah yeah. and i mean, it sorta obscures the line between right and wrong, good vs evil. i mean from humanity's standpoint, titans are the enemy and bert and reiner (and ymir) show you that no, there is another side to this and i love how that is being explored

Yeah and maybe I whined a lot in the thread down there but I really really loved Bertholt and Ymir and how they seem so obviously...I don't know how to put it, but it's like they don't fully realize/are aware of what they've done? Especially Ymir - omg that line, like, "titans eat people but aside from that are nice", like this means she has absolutely no idea - and it sorts of confirms my epileptic tree that she was "born" a normal titan and became a shifter later, while Reiner and Bertholt and Annie were always shifters or were born humans - like, she just doesn't realize how fucking horrible titans are from a human standpoint

and Bertholt is like, the most aware of them (excluding Annie maybe), like, he just wants to do the mission and go home but he also had fun with the humans and didn't realize how attached he is and this wasn't supposed to happen but now he has feelings too and he knows it's useless and there's no redemption but but but

poor kids

(and Jean wants to tie up Eren I knew it)
