[America had been annoyed with this Norway from the beginning, with the redundant questions and absolutely lack of anything making sense, but, there's just something about the way that he is roughing him up that America finds arousing...]

[Grabs at "America's" hair]

[America grunts as his hair is pulled, forcing a grin.]

[Slaps him outright, starting to lose patience - not that he had much to begin with]

Who are you working for?

I don't know! I've never actually seen them! They hide in those eyes.gif disguises and that's all I know!

You go around listening to eyes.gifs?

[Stares. Well, that's part of the problem right there. But obviously these gifs aren't the ordinary kind, the ones that stalk Germany and spread lies but are mostly harmless.]

...Never mind. Where's the ones who were taken, then. Or d'you not know that, neither.

All I know is there's an island somewhere. I don't know. I just brought the nations to them and they did the rest.

[Damn, there goes that idea. At least, if he's telling the truth.]

[America knew that when he figured out the America was talking at all, there would be hell to pay....assuming he even managed to get out of here to start with.]

[America scowls as he meets Norway's gaze.]

I'd think being written out of existence is far worse than anything you could ever do to me.

... 'Scuse?

[Frowns. That doesn't make a lick of sense. 'Written out of existence'?]

[Though America tried to keep a cool demeanor, the threat lingers heavily on his mind. He won't say anymore.]

What does it matter anyway? It's just America. People will like him better this way.

[He forces "America"'s head up further. Far enough that it's uncomfortable - and that's the point.]

[America's neck burned from the strain Norway was forcing on it with his pulling, and he couldn't help but wince.]

Yeah, fine, okay, whatever!

Don't 'whatever' me, boy.

[But he does ease up, letting his head down, gentling his touch - though still making him look at him. Not that he's decided to go easy with him; it's only that the way he flinched had bothered Norway. This might not be America, but it still looks like him.]

Now. Y'said you ain't keen on what they'd do to you if you told me anything. But chances are, you're right deep in it already. That right?

[America exhales as Norway lightens his grip, both for relief from the strain and just resigning to the fact that he'll be dealt with.]

I'm as good as erased at this point...

[Quiets for a moment, thinking on this.]

If you help me, I'll do what I can to make sure that don't happen.

[America stilled, looking up at Norway. If he had to guess which nations would be trying to find the real America, Norway would have been closer to the bottom of the list. And yet, here they were...]

...You'd do that? Just to get the real America back?

[Stares at him, his expression going completely flat.]

Don't go thinkin' it's on account of him in particular. Any nations disappearin' doesn't sit right. Ain't natural.

Oh, you mean like Greece, and Russia, and the other America, and Ukraine and Sweden?

[America glanced down at where he was still bound by the spell to the chair with the offer of information.]

[Fuck. It was bad enough when it was just America that he had to worry about. Now he has to go thinking about how to rescue Ukraine and Sweden, too. ... And the others, of course.]

[He can feel a headache coming on.]

Didn't realize there were so many what got changed around.

[America frowned slightly. He was still sitting here. He cleared his throat quietly in what he hoped would be a subtle hint. He was giving up information!]

[Raises an eyebrow. Yes, he knows what he's hinting at.]

... And you'd best not make me regret this.

[Snaps his fingers. The spell breaks. 'America' can move just fine, now.]

[Not expecting the spell to break, America had still be struggling against it. At the sudden loss of his invisible bonds, he fell face first out of the chair and onto the floor.]
