[The wisp moves towards anon and settles on... but since it's magical you don't catch fire. It's just going to feel like a butterfly landed on you. Except this isn't an insect - it's literally a ball of fire.]

Sure, you can. It can be a little shy though, so you've got to do it slow. And it's not hot at all so don't worry about getting burned.

[Actually it was more he made the fireball cold partly for practice and partly for this purpose.]

[Sometimes blood is needed in drawing spell circles to make them stronger but since this is just practice and he's not casting any big spells, you're luckily not treated to the horrific sight.

Well, they're books. They can write about magic however they want.

But really though, for some people, wands help them to channel their energy and cast spells much more easily. That doesn't mean it's impossible to cast spells without 'em.

They're really pretty.

[But as hard as it is for her to exhibit self control, she doesn't come any closer. Magic is one of those things she accepts exists but she doesn't understand it which makes her not trust it.]
