The best season is coming, meme! Halloween season! I mean... fall! Yeah, fall. I love the fall. I actually like every season in its own way, but I think fall has the best atmosphere. Crunching leaves and pumpkins and excuses to decorate the outside of your house with fake spider webs and zombie hands. Also it means... Hetalia Halloween fanart! (Maybe even... something from Himaruya? Maybe? Bueller? No?)

Probably the only short story I've read in the last few years but -> http://www.ime.usp.br/~jstern/miscellanea/General/Chiang98.pdf

"Story of Your Life" by Ted Chiang. It's about a female linguist who documents an alien language after aliens make first contact and how learning this language changes her world view. The linguistics is solid (except I doubt anyone seriously believes Sapir-Wharf is that strong anymore) and it's a good light read I found.
