part 340 tender lumplings everywhere

The best season is coming, meme! Halloween season! I mean... fall! Yeah, fall. I love the fall. I actually like every season in its own way, but I think fall has the best atmosphere. Crunching leaves and pumpkins and excuses to decorate the outside of your house with fake spider webs and zombie hands. Also it means... Hetalia Halloween fanart! (Maybe even... something from Himaruya? Maybe? Bueller? No?)

Enjoy part 340!

Prussia being Baltic and proud of his Baltic heritage and language and blah blah in modern times. It just doesn't make sense that he'd have represented the Baltic Prussians at any time, and yet a lot of people have it as a headcanon that he's trying to revive the Prussian language or hangs out with Lithuania because they're brothers etc.

Why do you disagree?

Because Prussia is Germanic/Germania's son and was created to fight, in canon

But you don't think he could still connect to the "Baltic" time? (or whatever you'd call it idk)

There's been a lot of "nations" who have "disappeared" when they have been conquered. And I don't think the conquerors have given a damn about the conquered people or considered them as their brothers...

It would be like:

Prussia: Hey, Lithuania and Latvia! I think I killed your brother! But now we can be brothers, right?

Because we know from canon that Prussia (the character) started out as the Teutonic Knights. The Baltic Prussians were conquered and germanized by the Teutonic Knights, and the name Prussia was given to the area/government at some point.

To me, it makes much more sense that there was a separate representation for the Baltic Prussians who disappeared some time after Hetalia!Prussia came and the original culture faded away.

Would you think there was a "Confederate" America?

What does this have to do with an entirely different ethnic group...

I don't think that's the same thing. Confederate America headcanons are based on there being one America first, and then Confederate shows up for the Civil War. Teutonic Knights!Prussia and Baltic!Prussia have no shared starting point, so they can exist independently from each other.
