Sadly, I think they are promos for the face characters. Such a disappointment! Especially when they've been redoing the other face characters to make them more 'realistic' and less cartoonish in appearance.

Bugger. Definitely disappointing... I would've expected something a little nicer-looking.
(Man, so many of my impressions of Frozen tend toward "Oh hey this sounds cool - wait maybe not....")

Same here. I wonder if they don't expect the characters to stick around, like Merida has? Hmmmmmmmm....

I could go either way with Frozen. The sidekick characters look obnoxious (wish it was like Pascal in Tangled--no talking) but the sister sister relationship looks interesting...

That could be a possibility. It'd explain a few things.

I was pretty excited about it even with the points people have been bringing up, but then I saw the trailer and... it seems so annoying. The humour, mostly. BUT It's possible they did that thing where they take every stupid, annoying joke in the whole thing and slapped them all together for the trailer, and that the actual film will have that stuff spaced out more... Hopefully.
Still going to see it, yep. (mostly because of the setting/background visuals though)

Eh, that might just be marketing! Kind of like how for the English trailers for Tangled, they emphasized the "LOL FUNNY" parts and even added jokes to the trailers... same for Brave, actualy!

Mm, very possible. I don't usually watch trailers; I guess I was just expecting something less... silly.
