Okay, this may sound a bit extreme but to those of you who have gotten to know me, you’ll know it is true. If I invite you to cocktails at my house and you turn up in sweats, prepare to be judged harshly. I don’t expect you to come in couture, but I do expect you to have some respect for the occasion and the effort I’ve put into creating something entirely pleasant for you. If your outfit says, “I couldn’t be bothered”, consider our friendship on tenuous ground.
