[wait, no, don't answer that.
he puts Australia down on the table gets busy frying the sausage... or rather... leaving them to fry while he peels the potatoes, grumbling more to himself than Australia.]

[There you go, England's food is better than starving. Just. That's the closest he's getting to a compliment.]
[Watches England cook and swings his legs as he does. It's like watching a car crash! Or a carriage crash in his case.]
Think that's burning!
[It's not actually. It might be in relation to that last comment.]

[he will take that compliment. see, his cooking isn't that bad!
glances at the stove, frowning. god damn it, lad, stop worrying him like that.]
It's not burning at all. And it won't be! Now be quiet.
[time to boil the potatoes. and poke the sausages. probably not enough, as one side of those sausages really are beginning to burn.]
/flails and desperately pretends that I'm not so horribly late sorry ;3;
[Grins at seeing England fall for it. Hilarious! Apart from when the sausages actually do start burning and then it's just disappointing. Again.]
But it is now.
[Eyes those potatoes as England prepares them. He doesn't watch England cook very often, for various reasons, and it is interesting to sit and watch.]
not as sorry as me omg I missed this ;;
they are burning still. but like in the story of the boy who cried wolf, England refuses to check this time]
I'm not falling for your tricks, Australia! Now go and get the knives and forks from the drawer, it's nearly ready.
[Poke, poke, poke. Ah, there's that smoky burning smell that's so familiar. yum.]
