Actually no pastries at all at work yet but around Thanksgiving we should be moving into a new location with ovens, so who knows what I will be doing? Right now it's pretty much just poured sugar stuff (and I've done some sculpted chocolate pieces for custom orders but it's not a thing we advertise since I'm the actual only person there who does modeling chocolate)

for my family though, I'm probs going to be making danishes, pecan pie, shortbreads, and whatever chocolate thing my qt little cousins want ♥

Okay, let's see...I feel like WWII left lots of Countries feeling burned out as hell, to grossly understate things. Denmark among them. Physically and emotionally, he was exhausted. People were exhausted. The first one was shocking and horrible and that it happened again...I tend to think that was the final major catalyst in Denmark's personality turnaround. Realizing the level and scale of destruction people were capable of got the responsibility gears turning, right around the time the UN formed.

Denmark started patching up his relationships with his friends, family and neighbors; less talking (sort of), more listening, learning when it's not worth a fight, trying to live with a little more humility.

This, uh, might have been a little rambly and vague, sorry! Anything specific you want to know?
