[He's not expecting that reaction, but he's not complaining. And since it seems to be okay to be affectionate, he just goes with what he'd normally want to do in this situation and pulls her into a hug too.]

[Takes a brief glance around the hot springs to see if anyone else is nearby before continuing.]

Don't care if ya think it's stupid or ya bothering me or whatever. If anything worries you or seems weird, you can come get me to help you, okay?

[That's not an offer he'd make to just anyone, and it's not just because she's clearly upset by America's death.]

[She's surprised by the hug but relaxes into it easily enough, wrapping her arms around his waist and holding him to her.]

Then you have to promise to do the same.

[She does appreciate his help, but despite current appearances she doesn't mean to be this vulnerable around anyone else. And now that she thinks about it she's not really sure how much he trusts her.]

Unless... You'd probably prefer the other Lithuania, wouldn't you?

[He hums as she relaxes onto him and plants a kiss to her forehead too. Feels more natural than he'd expect, he shouldn't be surprised but he is.]

[Her question does make him pause for a moment.]

I'd be willing to rely on ya too.

[It's not a straight answer, and she's not his Lithuania in the same way and yes, he does prefer his because of that, but he does mean it. Plus her one isn't here to help, so he feels a responsibility to make up for her absence too.]

[Normally she'd have let go by now, but he's warm and comfortable and she doesn't feel any immediate need to move away.]
