on my little boat on the meme! How was your weekend, meme? Good, I hope! I am LOVING these updates, by the way! I feel like it's Christmas! But in October and November! It's really refreshing to have new material and it kinda feels like a ~rejuvenation~ in the fandom! Well... anywho!
Enjoy part 344!

Re: Night 5
[He frowns slightly]
I'm trying to figure out who could have killed England. Australia told me that sushi is something from Japan, but he said that would be too obvious. So we tried to think of who could be trying to frame Japan, and we only came up with Miss Russia, but that obviously wasn't right.
[Leans back in the seat with a huff, crossing his arms]
So now I am trying to figure it out, but I feel like I have to rely on everyone else, because I just don't know anything about the relationships between nations anymore.
Re: Night 5
[He cracks open the journal again. England, England...]
Poisoned with bad sushi and they found face powder on the box. Not very helpful. I guess it's possible it was from someone who wears make-up, but there weren't any fingerprints. So gloves? But who puts on make-up and makes sushi with gloves on?
[Would it be in bad taste for him to suggest that maybe England made the sushi himself and it was just an unfortunate accident? He would.]
Anyway... I don't think we can rely on our relationships for this anymore. I was sure it was Russia too, both of them, but they were completely innocent. Maybe the killers don't even know they're killing.
[Weirder stuff's happened here.]
Re: Night 5
[He pauses, looking at his notes.]
I'd said that, too. Nothing really seemed like it could have been done on purpose. But Australia keeps saying that I'm wrong. 'You don't accidentally boil someone,' he said...
[He frowns slightly.]
I wonder if I should be talking to other people, aside from the ones who are friends with the older me...
[Can anyone be trusted?]
Re: Night 5
[Shouldn't it be impossible to turn the heat up that high anyway? This stupid boat and its stupid crew.]
...But no one knocks a little boy unconscious and throws him overboard by mistake either. No, I was thinking maybe they're not actually aware of what they're doing even while they do it. Like sleep walking or hypnotism or something.
Re: Night 5
[You and your 19th century concepts...]
Re: Night 5
I don't know exactly how it works myself, but it's kind of like whispering suggestions to someone while they sleep? And then when they wake up, they actually do it! But they're not actually aware they're doing it. It's hard to explain without seeing it for yourself.
Re: Night 5
[Taps his notepad with his index finger thoughtfully]
And if that is the case, would the killer be misconstrued as an innocent because none of the clues would point to them?
Re: Night 5
[Thinks for a moment.]
And I don't know, but it would explain how so many innocent people have gotten executed already.
...It's also possible that we're all innocent and these murders were carried out by the crew just to put us against each other. I don't trust the captain or that coroner.
Re: Night 5
[Groans]
"Find the killers!" They say. "Or we'll kill you!" And you say the killers are drugged and Australia says that they can't be accidents...
[Shakes his head and sighs.]
Let's just look at the clues again. You mentioned there was face powder on the box? That seems a little odd, doesn't it?
Re: Night 5
[Groans. He is not looking forward to when Russia and, well... Russia, come back. He's not completely to blame, but he hardly expects them to be understanding.]
The powder... I guess it could have been left by the killer by mistake. It was only a little bit after all. The women are more likely to wear it than us, but you never know. That only leaves two people and I don't know either of them very well at all.
Re: Night 5
[Rubs his chin]
I suppose your first guess is Miss Prussia, but she doesn't seem the type to wear such things, if she is anything like the Prussia in my world. Who is the other one?
Re: Night 5
Those two are the only women left according that picture they keep hanging up.
[Even if he can't say for sure it wasn't from one of the crew members or even one of the male VIPs. He's certainly been wrong plenty of times already.]
Even if it wasn't Prussia who sent the sushi, I think she might be one of them for other reasons.
Re: Night 5
[Frowns, not wanting to consider that his idol could be a killer in any incarnation.]
You don't think Prussia would kill England, do you?
Re: Night 5
[Not a comforting thought that some of them could be killing the others without even realising it, but thinking the killers actually had a motive hasn't gotten him anywhere.]
...But I don't think Prussia killed England, no.
[He thinks she might have hit him with a shovel, but that's all.]
Re: Night 5
[He starts scribbling on his notes the possibilities. He still has not excluded Finland, but he isn't about to tell him that. And now he is wondering if the information from Australia was intentionally misleading...He changed who he was going to vote for based on the older nation's counsel.]
Re: Night 5
[He opens his own notes and adds another suspect to the list. But the more there are, the less confident he is about any of them.]
...Um. before you get too carried away there, I should probably mention I'm not so good at this detective stuff. I've been voting for the wrong people the entire time.
[And he even suspected Sweden, even if he couldn't bring himself to vote for him.]
You might want to get a second opinion before you decide for sure who it is you think actually killed England.
Re: Night 5
[Sets his notes in his pocket and stands]
Thank you for your time, Mr. Finland. I think I will try to seek that second opinion you mentioned...
Re: Night 5
You're welcome. Good luck, and watch yourself. And you really don't have to call me Mr.
[He's going to stay here and finish his notes. If the killers take him out tonight, he wants to at least leave something behind that the others can use.]
