I've seen so much badfic in which Poland desperately wants to be a girl a) so he can compete with Belarus for Liet's affections b) because Liet is straight c) SOME OTHER strange reason revolving around Liet. In a human AU or something this could actually be interesting but that is not how identity of any kind works. So while I'm normally cool with trans*canons I just can't with Poland. I can't. Good lord.

I can't really think of anything ridiculous... I did see one headcanon about Hungary being either trans* or outside the binary and that could be interesting to read.
