part 347 dimensions of sight and sound

and of mind. Do do do do do do do do do do do.

How was your end-of-December-into-January time, meme? Did you make any New Year's resolutions? Or light a candle in your window in the hopes that Himaruya would update again instead of leaving us behind like an 19th century light house keeper's wife whose husband has gone off to sea? ... Did you?

Enjoy part 347!

Sweden's sleep habits are impeccably healthy. Turns off all electronics 30 min before turning in, brushes his teeth, washes his face, and reads before bed. Probably some super-grisly crime novels. If he has Hana with him, he sometimes lets her curl up on the bed, too. It is his only vice.

Germany is the same, but stiffer about it. Dogs stay in their beds, no exceptions.

Denmark...keeps his sleeping area mostly free of clutter, but that just means the mess is stuffed off into another room for the night. He wakes up a lot in the middle of the night and goes around just doing stuff until he's sleepy again. His bed always looks like it got hit by a hurricane.

Norway sleeps, sometimes. But mostly coffee. Sometimes books are pillows. Sometimes very old, dangerous cursed books are pillows or get spooned. Very old, dangerous cursed books don't like being pillows or getting spooned. Very old, dangerous books can shove it and deal.

Hong Kong is dangerous to share a bed with because he moves around a lot. He's a sleep-kicker. Who knows like five martial arts, ow. He sleeps late and often wakes up sideways on the bed or curled up. Zero sleep hygiene consistency.

China's in bed at nine every night. Because he's old.

An old favorite from the early meme: America sleeps with a nightlight

Canada wishes he slept cuddling kumajujube but really what ends up happening is kumajolie flops on his chest, suffocating him

you should go to bed if you need sleep, anon ;3;

Themed tumblrs. Gif tumblrs. People who use tumbler like a lite journal. Artists. Writers.

You get the idea. It's easier if you have some sort of theme to focus on rather than just posting a mixed batch of things.

well they could load a queue up in advance

or be really good at diary-keeping

I don't understand it, myself, but then I only post art on mine and I'm not that productive these days

I WISH I KNEW.

Christ, I have a hard enough time dragging my ass out of bed, let alone reblogging things ( not just queued) let alone actually new content.

why can't science give me energy pills (that work)? I'd rather have that than jetpacks

Russia has been known to stay up all night or until early morning hours skulking around.

When he does sleep, he's deathly quiet save for a few hums or weird noises every now and then. And he doesn't move much except for latching onto something, be it a pillow or anyone in bed with him. Good luck getting him to release said person or thing until he's fully awake.

England is prone to dozing off during the day and stays up to ungodly hours at night because something will catch his attention and he'll get so caught up he doesn't realize the time. When he does he promptly changes into proper pajamas, brushes his teeth and takes a glass of water to an always impeccably made bed.

France goes through a grooming regimen every night before bed and sleeps with his hair pulled back and only a mask on when alone. The sheets are always fresh and he sleeps with a pile of pillows. When with someone else he clings, though he'll deny it later, and refuses to get out of bed until all parties are thoroughly disheveled in the morning.

China sleeps early every night in mismatched t-shirts and underwear. He's prone to falling for products that promote restful sleep, even though he has no problems sleeping because he thinks it will improve his health even though he's healthy.

Japan falls asleep in front of video games or on the floor a lot. When he manages to have a normal night's rest in bed it's a struggle to fight the temptation to reach for a comic. He sleeps with the lights off and so still that if he weren't breathing you would think he was dead.

Italy takes a long nap during the middle of the day when he can, and doesn't sleep again until very late at night, then wakes up to very strong coffee. He's pretty much naked every time, the bed is never made, and sometimes he sleeps on the couch or somewhere else soft. He sprawls.

America's also prone to passing out in front of video games but he makes it to a messy bed, mostly, then spends hours on the computer or reading or watching movies and falls asleep with some sort of light source on. He doesn't like sleeping in complete darkness and would rather sleep with company if given the chance.

I'm tired of typing so I'm going to stop here.
