I never had any m/m ships before Hetalia.
Chibitalia/HRE was my gateway ship.
Which morphed into liking Germany/Italy sort of as a joke at first, then it wasn't a joke anymore.
Then it was Sweden/Finland, fuck, it was so cute.
Then FrUK was funny.
USUK was interesting for a while.
Austria/Hungary was fascinating and reassuring that yes I still ship some m/f pairings and Hetalia didn't change that.
Some asshole artist had the nerve to draw Spamano in the best way possible.
It just kept happening and I learned to stop wondering why.
Now, save for a few noTPs and a few other tepid feelings, I'll ship almost anything. I wasn't a multishipper before Hetalia, either, now look at me.
