Whining distracts the "scientists" and disrupts the experiment! And then they'd have to stop, and leave him there til his erection subsides, and then start the whole process over again. What a waste of lab hours!

(And speaking of threats - taking a left turn into even wilder kink territory here, I've always been rather disappointed that there wasn't more guro kink fic taking advantage of Russia's heart. I mean, for heaven's sake, it already falls out on its own. Seems like it'd be quite a juicy little power trip, there, literally taking hold of his heart and squeezing it while fucking him, to keep him in his place, to watch him shudder and squirm…)

Untying him after all of that would possibly be dangerous. Guess they'd have to wear him out really well first~!

There was a prompt on the kink meme that had a similar theme not too long ago, if I remember correctly! It might be because it's a little rare to find things where Russia isn't the aggressor or the top in some way. It's harder to write him as the victim, I think. The guro bait was thrown out but almost nobody took it!

That's true. I was also always surprised that out of all those angsty headcanons about Russia's neck and how poor Russia's all traumatized because of some unspeakable past neck-related incident (was it the hamsters, Russia?) - there's really very little in the way of kink fic exploiting that; it's mostly just a background mention of Russia's dark past of daaaaaarkness.

Though come to think of it, I do think there was some Poland/Russia slavefic on the kink meme. Don't think it did much playing around with the neck or heart though...

True! Even when a fic mentions it, they hardly ever describe his deep, dark, traumatizing past. It definitely wouldn't hurt to have more stuff with Mr. Russia as the victim. It'd make for such an interesting piece! (Aka I'd read the hell out of it)

I don't remember that one! The only thing I think of with Poland and slavefic is that one where he's keeping all of the nations as "ponies".

Ohohoho that "ponies" fic…!

This one was separate - though I do wonder if it was the same author - with an AU in which Poland is powerful and cruel and keeps teenage Russia as his much-abused pet, but then this AU slave!Russia switches places with the modern day Russia of our world. Beginning was hot and had some interesting scenes with slave!Russia, but I think it was heading toward hurt/comfort which doesn't interest me much so I didn't keep track of it. Well written though, I'd definitely rec it!

Granted, the abused Russia in that case had never risen to power and was apparently prevented from growing past teen; I'd be even more interested in what might happen with a Russia who is powerful, or who was powerful, and then suddenly finds himself in a position of near helplessness…

There was, I think, a RusAme desperation/wetting fic with something like that. Was pretty hot, iirc, though this was quite a while back.

That was definitely an interesting concept! I don't think it's been updated in a while, though.

Oh yes, I remember the one you're talking about now. I haven't read it but I might have to give it a shot! And yes, the fics I've read with an abused Russia always took place at some point in his past and very rarely in modern day or even when he was an adult. It's the powerful becoming powerless change that makes that kind of fic exciting so I'm disappointed there isn't more like that.

Hmmm I may have to go through old kink meme fills again. I missed some golden ones, it seems!

Yes, I love that fic! I do hope it gets updated, I'd sure like to see America and Canada forced to pull a carriage, as Poland had planned.

And +1 so much on power flip - it's that whole "how the mighty have fallen" feeling that really gets me. Now granted most any nation is powerful in the sense of simply being a nation personification in the first place, but ohhhh it's so much more delicious when it's one who's been super powerful, perhaps an empire, and had a lot of influence over others…

Now that I'm thinking about it, I might've seen something on the kink meme modern day RusAme with America dominating Russia with puppyplay… don't think I actually read it, though.

The power flip is what makes it fun! Especially with Russia who was a superpower not too long ago and probably tries to forget about his less powerful days.

And I think I remember that one! It was definitely strong on the humiliation factor and my only complaint, if I remember it correctly, was that Russia gave in a little too easily. I'm pretty sure it was on the current part if you want to hunt it down!
