To be honest, if the meme didn't exist, I'd have completely moved on to different fandoms by now. I think my waning interest was caused by the combination of lacklustre BIRZ strips + lack of Himaruya + favorite doujinshi artists moving on + LJ friends disappearing. I still read most of the new strips, but I don't actively seek out fanwork or make any of my own anymore. Oh, but I still like to interact with RPers here from time to time because that's always fun.
