part 347 dimensions of sight and sound

and of mind. Do do do do do do do do do do do.

How was your end-of-December-into-January time, meme? Did you make any New Year's resolutions? Or light a candle in your window in the hopes that Himaruya would update again instead of leaving us behind like an 19th century light house keeper's wife whose husband has gone off to sea? ... Did you?

Enjoy part 347!

Great times you've had in the fandom, people you've got to know, official strips/art that brightened your day etc.

and i should add, it's because at first i thought nothing of it but then it unexpectedly grew into its own little story arc and i melted into buhyoos

ditto bug-romano-day, italy's chest-testing spree, and the waiters, actually... of course the event itself and himaruya's grand return pleased me hugely, but i love when a little joke.one-off doodle expands like that so cuuuute

Himaruya's update with DAVIEEE

It was the first time in a while we got a deep strip, it was awesome, and the reactions were amazing

There's this song called Kein Zurück by Wolfsheim: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmrmOW9PtKQ

I got into the fandom around late 2010 or early 2011, something like that, and soon started writing my first fic about Germany and Prussia. Around the same time, someone posted a gorgeous Germancest AMV using this song and it instantly became my theme song for angsty, historical Germany and Prussia. Every time I listen to it, I feel like I'm still writing that story and taking my first steps in the fandom and discovering how much I love Prussia.

Sadly, it looks like the AMV has been deleted from YouTube, but I think I saved a copy.

The 2010 Winter Olympics. Spamming reactions on the main community during the opening ceremonies will always fondly be remembered. ;3; That and the World Cup! I can't believe we've lasted long enough to see another Olympics.

Meme's first year. I had never had so much fun in a fandom, or watching Eurovision.

That first - or was it second? the first one I was around for, in any case - Christmas "bloodbath"

So much fun, a little raunchy, and just all around the kind of unexpected silliness I've come to love Hetalia for
