Don't worry, anon. I'm totally neutral when it comes to Russia's chubby, but there was another thing that I was massively upset about and wanked about on the meme, and I felt exactly like you. It upset me so much that I was the only one who was invested in that issue, and everyone else was just lol~ You just have to try to convince yourself to get over it.

To be fair, there was a time when anyone who regarded Russia as not chubby were side-eyed. Everybody thought it was somewhat canon, or at least it seemed, and seeing Russia as only muscular with no chub was considered an immature and fat-shaming fangirl thing to do.

So even if I don't mind chubby Russia I was glad to see some confirmation of the opposite just to negate those more pretentious fans.

I know, and I'm sorry about that too

Though seeing him as lean-muscle didn't bother me so much, it was the fangirls who said "STOP CALLING RUSSIA FAT! HIMARUYA SAID HE'S JUST BIG-BONED!" that were the problem (though it was more laughable than anything)
