Should I drive to work today?

It's snowing outside.

For driving:
-Driving to work takes 5-10 minutes while walking takes about half an hour.
-Temperatures are gonna feel like 5°F today.
-The sun will be down by the time I'm off work and it'll be even colder and I'll have to walk home in the snow in the dark.
-Zee's supposed to be coming over this evening and I want to hurry home to spend time with her.

Against driving:
-The first and only time I've driven in snow was to work last month, I was crawling at 10mph and the brakes still wouldn't brake. I accidentally ran a stop sign.
-I'm not sure I know how to drive in snow. If there is indeed a special way of doing so.
-My car will likely be buried in snow by the time I get out of work and I don't have any anti-snow devices like those scraping and brushy thingies.
-I'm from San Francisco, snow is foreign and scary.

Tough choice. I would probably walk in your case, but I've always been paranoid about driving in difficult conditions.

Sounds like driving would be tough. Can you at least get someone to drive you back home?

None of the others get off work at the same time that I do. I decided to give driving another try, and I'm not ashamed to admit I screamed the entire way. Especially when the car in front of me skidded out of control. I want to go back to California.
