I hope this fandom never gets as big as it used to be again. Sure there were more people to have fun with but so many of them were horrible, immature fans.

I think anyone who thinks fandom was better in the old days has rose-colored glasses on.

Meh. I never used to be much for fandom per se; what I miss is having more fanfic writers.
