the nations frequently behave immaturely, one could say, but i don't think any of them have this mentality or this kind of vulnerability - or, most of all, this kind of dependence. they are, as they should be, quite capable of doing their own thing.

It's not true across the board for every person, and there certainly are equally immature adults (I've had the misfortune of dating one), but I think most people would agree that they were more emotionally volatile during their teenage years.
