part 347 dimensions of sight and sound

and of mind. Do do do do do do do do do do do.

How was your end-of-December-into-January time, meme? Did you make any New Year's resolutions? Or light a candle in your window in the hopes that Himaruya would update again instead of leaving us behind like an 19th century light house keeper's wife whose husband has gone off to sea? ... Did you?

Enjoy part 347!

to be fair, he does have otaku tendencies in canon, and j-fen as a whole created yaoi in that sense. but i would think he'd reflect j-fen fujoshi stereotypes over american yaoi fangirl stereotypes even then

but i doubt that'd also lead to him running around with a camera taking photos of unsuspecting nations in questionable positions

Yes but otaku does not mean fujoshi. If anything, he has only shown interest in 2D girls.

Isn't there a strip with America and England wearing animal ears and Japan gets all sweaty and asks to take a picture? Or was that a fan thing and I'm tripping?

now that you mention it, you're right actually

he probably would take pictures, but i doubt he'd go to extremes

those kinds of situations are usually depicted in humor in j-fen anyway rather than anything serious

(and j-fen has some pretty weird humor, too, if random pixiv art is any indication.)

Yes, I remember that. It was official. America and England had heard Japan would do anything to blend in with a crowd, so they put on animal ears to see if Japan would follow suit even though it's weird.

And Japan ended up asking them to pose for pictures because he thought they were cute in the animal ears.

So if nothing else, does show that Japan can find guys moe too.

i know

but "yaoi" and its related tropes by itself is a j-fen invention - seme/uke conventions and the like, if you get my drift
