part 348 candles in the lighthouse window

Hey meme! How are you doing? What is up? Do you also have a candle lit in your window for the return of Himaruya? like anon who is a light house wife! I hope he returns from the sea soon, with stories of adventure and sea monsters and the life outside the island. Ah, Himaruya. Safe journeys. Safe... journeys.

Enjoy part 348!

thought this said "mourning" and I thought, well, that's a very odd topic for a dead hour early morning headcanon thread

His morning's like most Australians' mornings.

This misses out having to wrangle before breakfast. No brekkie till you've beaten a croc!

Exactly! "Is that a Brown Snake in your trousers or are you just happy to see me?"

(Spoiler: completely a deadly snake.)

Hit snooze, roll out of bed on second alarm, shower and probably sing while there, read/watch news while getting dressed, end up almost running late, stop for coffee and doughnuts on the way to work anyway, arrive just on time or like five minutes late but no one cares about five minutes, right?

On days off it varies a lot. If it's a nice day or she's looking forward to something she'll roll out of bed super early. If it's snowing or raining you can't drag her out of bed. She will drag it with her if you try, then grumpily relocate to the couch.

Wakes up at 6am every day without fail, damn ingrained military habits. Has something light to eat like toast or a banana or something. Trains until 9am, sometimes with Germany sometimes without. She never misses a day of training. If she feels like/has to go into the office that day she'll take a quick shower, have a quick breakfast, and get in by 10. If she doesn't, then she'll have a huge breakfast first followed by a longer more relaxing shower. She's quite active in the mornings!

Don't talk to him before he's had his morning coffee... unless you have a death wish.

sweden wakes up early, makes coffee, showers and shaves while the coffee's a making, dresses, eats breakfast and drinks the coffee while reading the news

maybe takes hana for a walk or leaves lunch for the kids or something? idk, it's not 100% clear who keeps hana and which kids stay with him when. so. when they're there, sweden does the dad thing

I'm torn, because I bet Himaruya would make him a morning person, but I like to think he's an absolute zombie until he has his second cup of coffee. =3=a

I feel like Hong Kong would be the kind of person to not get up early unless he has to. Possibly wakes up easily, but likes lolling around in bed a while longer. He and Taiwan probably do the breakfast on the go thing, I guess? If he's on his own, though, he might not realize he's hungry/needs caffeine until it hits him hard and he's in a meeting and he just D:s the rest of the meeting.

Taiwan actually handles waking up pretty well and she doesn't need a lot of caffeine to get going, but she really likes drinking something sweet with lots of frills. And colorful? If there's a colorful option, she takes it. She spends a lot of time worrying about what to wear in the morning. She's also the friend/family member who sends people texts early in the morning. (China would respond if he knew how to use his phone, HK hears the notif beep and nopes right back to bed, Japan is probably up and has a polite response, Korea is up and groggy but still in a good mood and sends a response with lots of smileys and sparkles.)
