[She's managed to pull herself up a bit on the surrounding ice.]

You're sure, now.

[Steps a bit closer. This part, at least, seems solid.]

Could give a hand if ya' need it.

[Because now he actually realizes who he's talking to.]

[She's not really in the best position to decline so she props herself up on one arm and reaches out with the other.]

[Gets as steady of a footing as he can, and then reaches out for her]

Easy does it, now.

[... And now he realizes that she isn't wearing much, but aside from a somewhat surprised look, he isn't going to comment.]

[Pulls herself up and rolls onto the ice, looking up at him.]

[Clears his throat]

Yer clothes're done for, I think. 'Less you have summat else about.

[Sits up.]

No, no. I-I believe you're correct. I don't have anything else.

[... Well. This's a fix if he ever saw one.]

Right, then. Your place or mine?

[Says it in a distracted way as he puts his hands together to throw together a spell. He doesn't realize how it sounds.]

[However, she does and the statement doesn't really help her already burning cheeks.]

Y-y-your place? I-is that alright?

[She'll assume he didn't mean it how it sounded-- especially since he seems more interested in his magic than in her.]

Wouldn't mind it. Reckon I have summat around you could wear for to get yerself warmed up.

[Looks to her, then, and - realizes that this all sounds awfully forward.]

'Less you'd rather head to your place, 'course.

[ukraina]

Wh-whichever would be easier for you.

[The chill is really getting to her now.]

My place, then. Reckon I can find it well enough, even with this here fog.

[He looks down at his hands again. One second -- ah, there it is. Done. He draws his hands apart, and offers her a ball of light.]

This'll keep you from freezin' 'till we get there.

[With a nod, she takes it, holding the light against her chest.]

I hope, um, I mean--

[Holds the light closer to her face, trying to draw attention away from being just in her underwear and maybe mentally wishing she wore something cuter today.]

--this is a rather strange predicament. Especially considering we don't talk to one another often.

[Now that he can't occupy himself with his hands, he's in a predicament. He carefully opts for keeping his eyes on her face.]

... What were you doin' out here in your drawers, anyhow?

Well, I'm positive you're aware of ice swimming, yes?

I assumed it was an occasion for that and, um, c-considering I didn't have my bathing suit with me...

Fair enough.

[He can't very well criticize that, seeing as she isn't the only one who's had swimming go wrong]

[Though he isn't very well about to say it]

Ought to get a move on, then. Tea sound good?

[ukraina]

[Nods a bit more enthusiastically than she would have liked.]

Tea sounds glorious at a time such as this.

Bedtime for me, can pick up tomorrow if desired! o/

[Almost smiles]

[And he starts heading in the direction of his house. Thankfully, it won't take long to get there.]

I finally fell asleep anyway

[Follows behind him, still audibly shivering even with the ball in her hands.]


[She's too cold to even bother making small talk.]

[Fortunately for them, it isn't long before they get to Norway's house.]

[He takes her in, shrugs off his outdoor clothes, then looks to her.]

Let's get you into something warm, then.

[He gestures for her to follow him as he heads toward the bedroom]

And maybe a hot shower, d'you think?
