Well, if ya stay there the ice's gonna crack and if ya fall yer gonna fall and the ice will close over ya, and then you'll drown and freeze to death multiple times again and again.

[though the more he moves, the more the ice cracks and he's soon dancing upon little ice chunks and then the water and then...]

[Takes the wolf pelts off him and starts tying them up together]

[hurry up with those pelts, would you? he can't stay above water for much longer]

You don't say! Don't shout, even I know you mustn't when swimming!

[If he hurries up then he might not tie them tight enough so hang on! Moves carefully as close as he can, and throws the one end toward the edge of the cracked ice while he's holding the other end]

[Feeling the tug, he starts pulling with all his strength, hoping that he tied the knots tight enough to pull you out of the water!]
