[looks around, now he can use coffee]

[Slips off his shoes, hangs up his coat, and heads into the kitchen, where he sets to opening cupboards and sifting through things so he can put on the coffee.]

Could do with some myself, after that business. Ain't in the habit of pickin' up freezing southerners on my walks, understand.

[though he'll comply with removing his shoes before following]

[he's feeling a lot more lighthearted now that he's out of the cold and in a safe place]

[Then looks back to what he's doing.]
