Hey meme! How are you doing? What is up? Do you also have a candle lit in your window for the return of Himaruya? like anon who is a light house wife! I hope he returns from the sea soon, with stories of adventure and sea monsters and the life outside the island. Ah, Himaruya. Safe journeys. Safe... journeys.

Enjoy part 348!

Offer a headcanon, or mention something you enjoyed seeing/reading with them, or something you would like to see/read with them, or something about pairings, or something about gen, or idk... AU ideas? Whatever.

Let's just show some love! Totally encouraged to do more than one character btw

Recently, I'm really warming up to Spain again. I'll admit, I'd initially only liked him for his looks and as a foil to other characters like Romano, France and Prussia, but now I'm rereading some of the strips and buhyoo Spain with his little reporter glasses and Spain doing his April Fool's shenanigans and Spain holding grudges and Spain being lovable and also sometimes dickish in an oblivious Spain being Spain way.

Also he looks good when beaten up.

And I'm craving SpUK and Frain like mad but it's rather hard to find. Possibly I am being picky though, the things I did find were too straightforward romantic for my taste, I expected more comedy.

I'm not even seeking those out and I see them a lot in the Hetalia tag????

yeah I'm not sure where you are searching for these ships, but pixiv has a lot of Spuk and Frain and I know from my dash alone that some Frain comics can get 1k+ notes.

I mean fic. Art is pretty plentiful, thanks to jfen.

But I admit I'm also maybe too picky about the fic? Idk. I just want more humorous conflict between the personalities. Or maybe even serious conflict. Or kinky stuff. I seem to be only able to find things that are too mushy/generic for my taste.

...I can't fucking believe Prussia never said that 5 meters thing in canon

Omg

I'm sorry Prussia, I've misjudged you for possibly years now

I liked Lithuania mostly as a foil to Poland, Russia, Belarus and America...I also like that Russia maaaaaay have feelings for him. I find the idea of Russia having a crush on him really cute, even if it makes Liet more of a Stu. But one with more of a point, if you will.

I never thought I'd end up liking Lithuania individually, I thought he was super bland. But here I am, loving him. I love how he's super serious (more than Germany!) and smiles like a perfect little businessman, is so nice it hurts yet still has a short temper...and his hair is hnnngh

I've been loving the recent material with Lithuania SO MUCH. Like. He's such a doormat that he agrees to make dinner for his boss, and then complains about it. By talking to himself. Loudly enough that passerby can hear. And I know I've already squealed about that panel with Prussia plenty but HOW GREAT... I've always loved playing him as occasionally rude, always clueless, and eternally dorky but then I love it so much when that's then further backed up by canon /lies down

Lately I've been really enjoying the idea of police/military AUs with him! I should actually write a fic sometime, hmm

I love that panel with Prussia too. And complaining out loud to himself - what a doofus.

I think it's funny that he's a workaholic with no sense of humor.

I think my favorite thing is that he started out as a badass and then became this pessimistic office worker guy. It's so funny-cute.

Aside from those two things my favorite moment has to be in the halloween event when he said fake blood was hard to clean up with a smile on his face. I could swear he just gets funnier as time goes on.

I can't decide whether I prefer the idea that England's a pretty good writer - not a literary genius by any means, but good enough that he has had a few stories and essays published here and there under pseudonyms - or if he's an incredibly awful poet and would ask the great poets of his own people to help crit him and Shakespeare or Keats or someone is lost for words trying to tell their own nation as tactfully as possible that he maybe should stick to the cooking hobby after all.

I tend to compromise by thinking he's good enough at prose writing, but bad at poetry.
