part 348 candles in the lighthouse window
Hey meme! How are you doing? What is up? Do you also have a candle lit in your window for the return of Himaruya? like anon who is a light house wife! I hope he returns from the sea soon, with stories of adventure and sea monsters and the life outside the island. Ah, Himaruya. Safe journeys. Safe... journeys.
Enjoy part 348!

ITT: stuff you used to hate eating/drinking, but now enjoy
(Anonymous) 2014-02-05 04:19 am (UTC)(link)now i feel weird if i don't eat some green stuff every day. i love asparagus, broccoli, brussels sprouts, even spinach (my former most despised food)
i used to hate tea too because it was bitter, but now have come around to it and don't like any sugar in it

Just in general I had a severely picky phase and now I'll try nearly anything once.

(Anonymous) 2014-02-05 04:25 am (UTC)(link)-Coffee (used to make it like hot coffee ice cream but have lowered the sugar and cream a lot by now)
-Any form of alcohol (I still think most boozy things taste too strong and I haven't developed a taste for wine, I think all of it tastes like the same combo of sour and bitter).
-Collard greens. Can't get enough of them now.
-A lot of chicken dishes.

(Anonymous) 2014-02-05 04:37 am (UTC)(link)because how could you make cake with cheese
cheese being the yellow stuff that you eat with bread
oh how wrong i was and oh how much i enjoy it now
Re: ITT: stuff you used to hate eating/drinking, but now enjoy
the first time I tried bubbletea was a Bad Experience, thankfully I tried it again later on
besides that, there isn't much I either don't like, though there are a few foods I've hated from childhood and will do anything to avoid even now
Re: ITT: stuff you used to hate eating/drinking, but now enjoy
Tea, too. I still don't like it on its own, but I didn't even know you could put milk in it until I went over there.
Cheesecake, now that the anon above mentions it. I can't eat more than a slice without feeling sick, but it's still good.

(Anonymous) 2014-02-05 04:57 am (UTC)(link)I also remember not liking tea, but that may have been crap pre-made iced tea with added sugar and artificial flavors. I still don't like iced tea because it reminds me of that awful taste, but hot tea is wonderful.
