Let's talk about bed headcanon, meme.

Boring and simple to be blunt. Super soft fluffy beds for those with delicate constitutions are fine for a night but to be honest she needs a hard mattress or else she has a hard time sleeping. Her bed is basically just one step up from the kind you'd find in a military barrack. Firm mattress, metal bars, nothing fancy.

You know except for the giant pile of stuffed animals on it and the cute chicky (or whatever pattern she feels like at the moment) sheets. Simple doesn't mean she can't make it cute!

Don't remember if we've seen it in the comics, but Austria's is this big old four-poster clunker that looks like it belongs in a museum. Even the bedding looks antique. 50-50 on whether he went for a nice new mattress or stuck with an old-fashioned one to be a stickler for tradition.


Denmark's is as flat as his mainland and it's comfy as hell, but he's prone to falling off it. And this guy is renowned for his furniture design how? (jk, it's well-designed, but Denmark's sleeping habits make it a safety hazard).


Canada has such ugly bedding. Gross mustard-colored tartan. It's warm and flannel-y and smells like a grandpa's house with rich undertones of bong water. Wash your fucking blanket, Canada.

He can sleep literally anywhere in any position, but his bed is very very very soft and squishy and has a lot of blankets and pillows. He likes being able to nest, and having things to hug in his sleep, so the pillows are pretty big, and it's never made because he pulls all the blankets and sheets around him and sleeps in a mound.

Also he likes warm-colored sheets and blankets.
