Yes. Only younger fans are wanky. It's not like you can browse through the Frozen tag and see some grown-ass woman posting an in-depth feminist analysis of Elsa wearing heels.

*What happened is that the young fans came in. The problem with anime is that anime always attracts 12, 13, 14 year olds who feel too strongly about everything like any teenager. They're the ones that start all of that and then they fire up the whole fandom.*
