I like soundtracks. Or sometimes I'll put on a movie that I've watched many times already, but even then that's usually a bad strategy as I am easily distracted into watching the movie instead, ha.

I like to listen to music in the native language of the character I'm focusing on. If it's France, French music all the way and so on.

If that fails, Ricky Martin always gets me pumped up.

Lately I've been listening to GLAY at work. Been experiencing a big nostalgia for songs like Mermaid. I find it best to listen to upbest stuff in a language that I don't understand, as otherwise I either fall asleep or get distracted.

Can't listen to music while writing fiction, though. I find that I can't hear myself think. But sometimes turning on Coffitivity helps, because I don't do too badly with ambient noise.

Let's plays, podcasts, radio, or my entire music library on shuffle. I'm not picky. I just have a hard time working without some kind of background noise.
