On a related note if there's one thing I've found people very vehemently disagree about and fling insults over, it's their preference for the doneness of their steaks.

The sheer amount of steak snobs out there and how they use it to justify being mean to people over the choice of the temperature of their meat is mind boggling.

I feel like food makes people so snobby! People get up in arms if you're vegetarian, if you're not vegetarian... if you eat processed food, if you don't eat it. If you eat a hamburger, if you eat a salad. SIGH!

Not that it's really anyone's business, but, to be fair I can kind of understand where people come from. A lot of well done steaks are cooked terribly--there are great ways to do a well done steak, but just "cooking the shit out of it" takes away from the flavor and the tenderness that should be there!
