I'm not going to be hungover!

[...Possibly untrue. Although it is Monday and that's probably a bad idea.]

[He thinks. Hopefully Australia staying with him will be better than the shirt.]

[That gets Lithuania a look. One that says "you're not very good at lying".]

[He brightens up when he hears that slightly more enthusiastic thanks. He's looking forward to staying over.]

No worries! C'mon, let's get something to eat.

[Takes him by the arm and tries to drag him along with him to the food because it looks delicious but he also wants Lithuania to come along with him.]

[He's not lying! Just, uh. He's not planning to be hungover.]

[Food is appreciated. He hasn't gotten to have any of it yet ~~and it's a good way to soak up the alcohol he's guessing Australia will be wanting next~~.]

[Nobody ever plans for it like they want to be hungover. Really now.]

[Once he's dragged Lithuania over he has a look through to see what there is. All of it looks good though so he's not sure what to take first.]

Did ya make all of this?

[If he sounds impressed, that's because he is.]

[He knows that! But he also knows his limits and no matter how delicious his vodka is he's not going to go that overboard.]

[His tone is a little bit confused because who else would have made it? ~~He's too cheap for catering, Australia should know this.~~]

[He can be a terrible influence when he wants to be. And even when he doesn't.]

Thought ya might have roped a friend in or something.

[You know, someone Lithuania wouldn't have to pay ~~he's well aware, he remembers the flowery shampoos~~. Either way he starts eating, and by the speed he's consuming it at suggests he likes it. It'll soak up the booze later as well, ace!]

Anythin' in particular ya recommend?

[His mouth's still full but that's never enough to get him to shut up for long.]

[Oh, he knows. That doesn't mean he'll always fall for it. But sometimes...]

I got some help from Audra, I guess.

[It feels weird to call her Lithuania so he just. Yes.]

Um. I think you got everything.

[At first he seems okay with that response, until another thought hits him and he goes a little pale.]

..wait, is she here?

[Because if she is, he didn't notice and he completely forgot to get her anything. Should he nip out and get something or will that annoy Lithuania? Can he really deal with the silent disappointment of two Lithuanias?]

Um. Yes? Somewhere.

[If he's honest he wasn't expecting to share Australia on today of all days but he guesses they know each other too... This is kind of weird.]

Did you want to go say hello?

No!

[Oops, that came out a bit louder than he expected it to and he looks around to make sure nobody noticed before he continues.]

Nah, it's fine, I'll just...catch her later.

[Maybe. With that crisis out of the way, he picks up a few more bits before slinging an arm over Lithuania's shoulder as he eats them.]

Right there. Where's the drinks?

Um. Do you want to avoid her?

[What kind of reaction is that? Regardless, he guides Australia over to the drinks and lets him pick what he wants. All Lithuanian stuff except for the case Australia brought with him.]

Anything in particular you'd like?

[He's the bartender here if it wasn't obvious.]

[Was he that obvious? That was subtle for him, nearly.]

Forgot to get her anythin'. Feel kinda an asshole for it.

[Which means avoiding her is sensible, right? Right. Also she looks like she's busy with...he's not sure who it is from the back but she's busy anyway, and he came to see Toris after all. He sticks to him closely as they go over to the drinks and he picks up a beer without thinking.]

Any specials?

[Although he has a feeling it'll probably be straight vodka, considering how Lithuania likes his drinks.]

She won't be expecting anything, trust me.

[She sort of is him after all. But don't let him think about that for too long.]

...I have a few basic things if you wanted a mixed drink. But mostly vodka and liqueurs.

[And beer, but obviously Australia already found that.]

[He shrugs a little awkwardly at that. He doesn't know if Lithuania's met the other Australia or not, so he doesn't know if he got her anything for their birthday but he feels bad about not getting Audra anything.]

Rather be over here with ya anyway.

[Which is also true, if not his only motivation. That answer makes him smile though.]

Go on, make me your speciality of vodka with nothing else then.

[He'll never get how he drinks it straight as a preference, it doesn't even taste of anything like rum does! By the time he's had a couple he won't care though.]

[They did meet but he was sort of in a dress at the time. He doesn't really know her well enough to get her a real present, but he did get her a card.]

If you're sure...

[He wouldn't mind him going over to say hello, at least.]

[It tastes of vodka! It'd taste like fire if he didn't keep stuff that was slightly better than that around. He pours them both some just because--it's rare he'd do otherwise.]

[He might go over and see her later. When he's had something to drink maybe and Lithuania's busy with his other guests. For now he's going to try to monopolise him while he can.]

[Finishing off his beer, he reaches for his glass with a grin before clinking it against Lithuania's. He'd be disappointed if he wasn't having one too.]

[Only natural that's something he's picked up, right? He downs half the glass in one go before unintentionally pulling a face. Not quite drunk enough to be drinking it straight, but he's on his way now.]

[It's a good thing he's waiting until then. He probably wouldn't approve of Australia talking to her drunk.]

[He's not expecting Australia to know that. How much time has he been spending in his bars?]

[He downs his whole glass without trouble and then tries not to laugh at Australia's face. Maybe he can get him something softer the next time.]

[He can't help that he's a very charming qnd talkative drunk! Uh, most of the time anyway.]

[It's a good way to learn about Lithuania! His people could do with smiling more though.]

[When he sees that look on Lithuania's face he gives him a very light shove before finishing off his drink.]

If it wasn't ya birthday I'd tell ya to shut up.

[He seems more amused than annoyed though. ]

[Oh? Not silly and too-loud?]

[He hopes Australia hasn't been going around smiling at his people on the street or in bars. That can't make them too friendly toward him.]

I didn't say a word.

[His smile is more warm than mocking, and since Australia doesn't seem to upset he doesn't mind the comment.]

Although I can go get you some juice if you prefer.

[Some people always have to put a negative spin on things, huh.]

[Not intentionally! He's just naturally cheerful and his people don't seem to appreciate it. Oh well.]

Ya face says enough love, trust me.

[Which is more teasing than anything else, especially in response to that smile. He holds his glass out for a refill - Lithuania's the host after all! - but shakes his head at that question.]

I'm fine. Pour us another?

[They think he's making fun of them! How many times does he have to explain this? But Australia does have a cute smile, so maybe he can be forgiven.]

You're sure you don't want something different?

[Apparently Australia wants to get drunk, but there are more pleasant ways to do that. He pours more for both of them anyway.]

[If he was making fun of them he'd be doing a lot more than just smiling at them! How many times does he have to say that?? But okay he can accept that.]

Quit worryin', it's ya birthday.

[Taps him on the head too as he takes his glass. It's normal to him to show up at someone's birthday and get drunk so he's not even thinking about it that much. Even if Lithuania is someone he likes hanging out with sober.]

[They don't know that! Most of them haven't been around Australians much, he can pretty much guarantee. But until Australia finally gets it he'll just remind him of it every time they go out in public.]

It's what I do.

[The point is taken, though. He'll try to tone it down a little. The alcohol might help too. He takes his own glass again when Australia does, holding it up again in another toast. To what he's not exactly sure. Už Lietuvą might be appropriate for the day, or maybe už Australią?]

[For now. There could be a little Sydney in Vilnius! It's more likely traffic would go the other way at the moment though. Yay, nagging!]

[Not that he's sure if they can get them, but does Lithuania really want to be a test case? He holds up his glass and then realises he's not sure what they're toasting for.]
