part 349 heart shaped chocolates
Hi meme! Happy Valentine's day! I hope you have a sweet one. (Get it? Sweet? Because... chocolates and candies. Yeahhh.) Sadly, I don't think a candle in the window for Himaruya has led him home--yet. It's all very romantically tragic. Or tragically romantic. I don't know.
Enjoy part 349!

Re: Anniversary of the Re-Establishment of the Lithuanian State
[He's actually been too busy to enjoy the party all that much, but once things settle down he's sure he will.]
[And then there's a brief lull in conversation as he tries to figure out what to say. Ah, small talk.]
...So, how have you been?
Re: Anniversary of the Re-Establishment of the Lithuanian State
{Takes another sip. Eyes widen at Lithuania's question.}
Oh, I'm - um - doing fine? I mean, I'm not sick if that's what you're asking. {He did feel a bit uncertain about the recent change of currency back home, but things seem to be going all right so far.}
Re: Anniversary of the Re-Establishment of the Lithuanian State
[He'll probably be all partied out after this.]
Oh. That's good to hear.
[Not quite what he was asking, although he has been sort of keeping an eye on that. He's still working on it, himself.]
Re: Anniversary of the Re-Establishment of the Lithuanian State
I mean uh, I hope you'll be able to attend them all. And take pictures too for remembering. {That sounds better.
Sort of.}{Takes another sip even though the glass is empty. Just trying to keep things moving.}
Hey Lithuania, do you ever feel nostalgia for the times you were... powerful? {Like the Grand Duchy or the Commonwealth with Poland. Does he look back fondly to them?}
Re: Anniversary of the Re-Establishment of the Lithuanian State
[The next question makes him pause and he thinks about that for a while before answering.]
I guess...it's natural to be nostalgic, and sometimes I do think back on those times. But they had their problems too, and I can't go back regardless of how I feel about them, so I don't spend too much time thinking about it.
[Short answer: no. But sometimes it's nice to remember.]
Re: Anniversary of the Re-Establishment of the Lithuanian State
Oh I see, I didn't think about that in mind. Sorry.
Re: Anniversary of the Re-Establishment of the Lithuanian State
[He'd prefer something like that to small talk, anyway. At least from someone he knows like Latvia. From a stranger it'd be pretty weird.]
Re: Anniversary of the Re-Establishment of the Lithuanian State
S-So um, sweets right? What kind of sweets do you usually have on your birthday?
{He can't deny that he's been smelling something delicious.}
Re: Anniversary of the Re-Establishment of the Lithuanian State
[He actually hasn't touched them because
Americasomeone has given him way too much candy over the last few days, but that means there's more for the guests!]Re: Anniversary of the Re-Establishment of the Lithuanian State
May I have a slice of the poppy seed? {Starts to walk over to where the dessert is.}
Re: Anniversary of the Re-Establishment of the Lithuanian State
Yes, help yourself.
[It looks like hardly anyone's touched those, actually. They're all yours, Latvia, good luck with them.]
Re: Anniversary of the Re-Establishment of the Lithuanian State
Thank you Lietuva.
{Look out, there's a slice of poppy roll calling his name!}
