rpers have always flirted. always.

don't tell people what they can and can't do and instead just play your character how you want.

Yeah, you get to control your character so it's up to you to change the tone. I suppose you might be in more of a fix if your character is naturally flirtatious and wouldn't turn down the change to flirt, but even then you could think of a way to change the tone to humor or argument instead.

Rpers will usually follow each other in tone. And if you really want to get out of what you feel is a flirting situation, just message the player. I'm sure they won't mind.
