part 349 heart shaped chocolates

Hi meme! Happy Valentine's day! I hope you have a sweet one. (Get it? Sweet? Because... chocolates and candies. Yeahhh.) Sadly, I don't think a candle in the window for Himaruya has led him home--yet. It's all very romantically tragic. Or tragically romantic. I don't know.

Enjoy part 349!

this reminds me

today i was thinking of how some tumblr users out there seem to get annoyed when people post art they've already posted. i've seen rude anon asks sent to themed fandom tumblrs about how they're "copying" other people's posts when... they're really just posting the same fanarts in general

but these same people are getting that art from pixiv and deviantart and so many people follow certain tags/artists, how can they think someone is "copying" them by posting some of the same art? it makes no sense!

Because they are self-centered and think that Tumblr revolves around them. I've had people "call me out" for posting the same paintings as such and such a blog as well, it's ridiculous.

man, paintings? that's even more ridiculous than calling out people who post the same fanart

like i can understand reposting gifs and edits of course but the fanart/art in general doesn't belong to you, hello! others might want to post it themselves, too! and not everyone follows tumblr's tags to stay up to date with current or past posts, either... don't even get me started on variations of fandom/character/pairing tags.

Ehh, I don't know if this is what you mean (it probably isn't), but I get a bit annoyed when I go into a tag and see a pic posted with a few notes, but scroll down a bit and see someone else who posted the same pic with a whole bunch of notes. I mean, okay yeah it's in the same tag so their interests are the same, but its a popular tag and there are a lot of other pics that could have been posted. (And I don't mean like one was posted weeks before the other, that's totally fine. I'm talking minutes, where someone saw the post and then posted the same thing in hopes of notes.)

I don't really care enough to say/do anything though. It's just a little annoying.

(Though there was once someone who had a blog that posted things similar to mine, and I felt a bit offended because 'is mine not good enough?'. But I know that is dumb.)

well, that's a bit different, i think

in the case i was thinking about, they were just getting the fanart from the same pixiv tags as the other person must have been. for example, they checked the brand new fanart on some fandom tag or another and then posted it, and someone "called them out" for posting the same fanart...

i get what you mean too, though, that can probably seem annoying
