Hey meme... it's gonna be May! Which means it's spring for many people! Or, it should be, if the weather would decide to cooperate. I've been wanting to plant my jalapenos outside but it keeps getting randomly cold... I just want spicy peppers, weather! I mean come on.

Anyway. At least it's not snowing. Or eternally Halloween. If you know what I mean.

I was really nervous to travel alone so the first time I booked a really touristy package to a your typical holiday resort. Everything was arranged for me and I could have hanged out with the rest of the group and the travel guides as much as I wanted to and I did ask the guides a lot of questions about bus timetables and restaurants and so on. It felt safe that there was always a bunch of people available who spoke my language and were familiar with all sorts of stupid tourist questions and problems.

I made me more confident about truly travelling alone, and now I've made several much more independent trips. But it was an easy way to start when I was nervous.
