Hey meme... it's gonna be May! Which means it's spring for many people! Or, it should be, if the weather would decide to cooperate. I've been wanting to plant my jalapenos outside but it keeps getting randomly cold... I just want spicy peppers, weather! I mean come on.

Anyway. At least it's not snowing. Or eternally Halloween. If you know what I mean.

haha I know right? To be honest I kind of bought them on principle without even examining them very hard :'D

Yeah, a fair amount! Since it's a touristy area there's a lot of really specific shops and shops with interesting things, and far fewer box-store type places. I mean they exist bit they're off-island. (and before you draw conclusions, there are like four towns on my island. it's not that it's too small for a Target, it just isn't the right place for one, and thank god for that!)

Lucky lucky! We have some antique stores in my area but they're waaaaaay overpriced... (like, wanting $50 for a random person's home photo from the 50s in a frame overpriced).

aww, well... it'd be better to be a Target than a Walmart

ffff the one I went to today is generally pretty low-priced and full of great deals, though the one in the village can get pricey ahah so I may end up being in your boat if I go for the other plates

haha we wouldn't even let a bigger hannaford's move in, we just filled out the existing one while keeping it within the same footprint and called it good. we even have trouble getting cell towers approved because they'd mess up the landscape :'D I think they're all being silly about the cell towers, but I'm glad there hasn't been very concerted mall development. I like our green island just the way it is. UuU
