But before you try to do let me just say a few things:

Every time you go to research Prussian History it has something to do with military. Ya think that would mean something, but noooo lets all think Ludwig is the military power.

Um No.

Ludwig learned everything from Prussia. Ludwig wouldn’t exist without Prussia. Ludwig didn’t have his own military because he had Prussia. All those little scenes where Ludwig is fighting? Yea, all those tactics and orders came from Prussia. But that’s a mild technicality, it isn’t like German history is straightforward and that a simple series and a couple of textbooks can cover it accurately…oh wait.

During WW1 Prussia was still head of Germany and Kaiser while Ludwig was a foot soldier. Before WW2 Germany was separated into what you can think of like Districts and they agreed on almost nothing And had their own armies with Prussia being the largest. Remember the Red Baron? Yea, he was Prussian!The strips were you see Ludwig during WW1 he’s kinda skinny, but compare them to scenes during WW2 there is a noticeable difference. You can chalk it up to changes in art styles, but I think there’s another reason for that. It might be something called WW2. Just a hunch. If you don’t know WW2 history..I just can’t

Also, Prussia isn’t some blockhead that is lazy, he is one of the smartest and cultured individuals rivaling France and Austria. Don’t believe me? Let’s wind the clocks back to the 1700s, shall we?

You all have heard of Fritz, ja? Frederick the Great? The man that Gilbert cherishes like France does Joan of Arc? Well the wasn’t just a King that fought against Austria for Silesia. Twice. And Won. He wasn’t just a King that fought France, Austria and Russia at once…and Won. See, Prussia under Fritz wasn’t a world power quite yet. It was still considered a small State amongst hundreds of others just outside the Holy Roman Empire that had 0 influence. Austria, France and Russia at that time were the most powerful Empires in Europe. And Frederick took all three of them on and won, securing Prussia’s position as a contender in Europe. Not HRE, Prussia.

And I’m not done. Frederick the Great was also a genius composer writing music that is considered today some of the most difficult pieces ever to play. You think Austria can play music? Think again. He isn’t the only one. Most of those composers are German, not Austrian, German. Germany, you know Ludwig, didn’t exist until 1781. Prussia was among the biggest centers for cultural and science and religion under Frederick the Great. He was considered the Philosopher King for a reason.

Let’s jump forward to the present now, hmm? We see a few scenes where Ludwig orders Gil around and so we assume he’s exclusively in charge. HAHAHA! The fucking Chancellor of Germany, while born in Hamburg, rose to political power in East Germany during the Cold War and helped see the reunification of Germany in the ’90s. What was Gilbert during the Cold War? East Germany, also known as the GDR. What is Gilbert now? The representation of East Germany. With that you would think that, if she rose to power in East Germany, then the country that was East Germany would have advised her. So excuse me if you think you can downplay Prussia just because his name changed.

Just because he seems weaker now doesn’t mean he really is. Sorry if it takes some fucking time to recuperate from Being Under Another Person’s Rule Since 1930! Sorry if you think him showing emotion about being left out and lonely means you are weak. I didn’t realize being strong enough to hide such pain to the point no one notices was considered weak. Those of you who defend others for doing the same exact thing, that try to stand up for people and characters that hide their pain? How’s that foot in your mouth taste?

So yea, Do enlighten me how Prussia can’t kick ass, because I damn well will be able to destroy your arguments piece by fucking piece with numerous sources.Not with Wiki either

And now that I looked at the post above, amazing 100% serious business military Prussia who never does or says anything stupid. I like Prussia when he's competent, but he's a total dork. That combination is why I like him so much.

In canon, Lithuania straight up says he hates Prussia and Latvia says he hates the Teutonic Knights. Such bros.
