part 353 whalers on the moon

We've been here over a year now! I can hardly believe it! Dreamwidth's been pretty good, I'd say, with almost no downtime to speak of and all that! Anyway... how is your spring going? Or I guess it's almost summer, isn't it? Hopefully it's been well! I've been catching up on work and new movies, all very exciting stuff, I'm sure.

Enjoy part 353!

I'm popping in once every 30-45 minutes or so.

My favorite subject.... uh. I liked so many.

In high school, my favorite class was choir (because if you were in the school's concert choir, you got to practice in the middle of the day instead of after school) and singing was a lovely break from all my academic classes. Of the traditional subjects, I loved all my science classes (well, no, I didn't like chemistry or physics very much at all. I liked elective science courses like astronomy, meteorology, and marine science much better. I liked biology all right, too. But my favorite favorite science was earth science I had in middle school.)

And that leads me to college, where I studied geology. My favorite geology subject was History of the Earth.

OK, ok, this was way more than a favorite subject. I think it can be summed up with natural history being my favorite subject, although that was never a class in itself. I just loved school.

Huh. The refs not that great from what I can see but at least he seems balanced with his bad decisions.

Well he redeemed himself. Kind of. Even if he was offsides.

mexi.com

I wonder if this website exists, but I don't want to try in case it's something weird.

It does! It's some kind of crude looking... news site or something?

(Also, in cases like that, you can try googling the website first)

OMG I remember when I was in middle school and just getting used to the Internet as a thing. My friend and I would type in funny URLs like purple.com or stupid.com and see what came up.

I'm glad we didn't accidentally stumble upon porn sites or something.
