tbh i don't see a problem with it? i'm guessing your issue is the last bit, about 'male energy' but i don't see a problem. when i think about whether a country seems better suited to male or female personification to me, it's also like that. quite subjective, of course, and others might assess that 'energy' differently than i do.

had the sentiment been more like 'mexico has male energy because mexico is STRONG and being a female personification would imply WEAKNESS' then i would have a problem with it, but as it is, i don't see the issue.
