We've been here over a year now! I can hardly believe it! Dreamwidth's been pretty good, I'd say, with almost no downtime to speak of and all that! Anyway... how is your spring going? Or I guess it's almost summer, isn't it? Hopefully it's been well! I've been catching up on work and new movies, all very exciting stuff, I'm sure.

France is one of my favorite characters, I'm annoyed by how in an effort to clean up his image fandom - especially on Tumblr - feels the need to basically completely reinvent him. He's a sleazeball (though not quite as bad as some might say), he's frequently (though not always) a jerk, he does have a sensitive or at least thoughtful side but still almost every time we've seen France's tears in canon it's just him being a flamboyant drama king. That's why I like him. I don't need him to be Mr. Perfect Romance or worse yet a gary stu soapbox lecturing about the proper things to do in a relationship.
